Ben Arfa relaunches flagging career with move to Rennes

RENNES, France (AP) – Hatem Ben Arfa has relaunched his decaying career in Rennes after a miserable end in his short stint at Paris Saint-Germain.

The 31-year-old, who was out of contract, completed a move to Rennes on Sunday in a one-year contract with an option for an additional year.

The skillful and fast Ben Arfa was among the most promising young players in France when he burst onto the scene with Lyon in 2004.
