Gibraltar clinch first competitive win against Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s Armenia

Gibraltar celebrated its first competitive international win on Saturday, winning 1-0 in Armenia in the League of Nations.

UEFA recognized Gibraltar as an affiliate in 2013, with the team entering the Euro 2016 qualification, but they had to wait for a competitive advance.

He finally reached Yerevan, however, as Joseph Chipolina's penalty in the second half proved enough to defeat an Armenian team with Arsenal star Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Imps Chipolina player came forward to score from 12 yards and put Gibraltar in operation in Group 4 of League D of the League of Nations
