The departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from LaLiga has done little to damage Spanish football, according to league president Javier Tebas.
The Portuguese superstar left Real Madrid in July to join the Italian champion Juventus, ending a nine-year association with Los Blancos.
Tebas admits that he would have been concerned if the change had taken place four years ago, but believes that LaLiga is now in a more solid position and can handle the departure of one of its main players.
"We" have worked to make the LaLiga brand stand above any player or club, "he told the Daily Mail.
" Four years ago, [Ronaldo] his departure would have worried me. On a scale of one to ten, he would have said nine.
"Now I'm worried, on a scale of one to ten, four, or even three."
Ronaldo has scored four goals in nine appearances in all competitions for Juventus this season.
