Young cannons homegrown Shimron Hetmyer and Sherfane Rutherford attacked furiously the Trinbago Knights assuring that Guyana Amazon Warriors he secured second place in the league stage of CPL 2018, with a six-field victory on Sunday night.

The warriors surpassed the goal of 155 with 5.5 overs to spare to beat Jamaica Tallawahs, who tied with 12 points, on the net run rate and set a rematch between the sides in the first qualifier on Tuesday. Tallawahs finished third and will face St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the Eliminator on Wednesday.
