An outfield soaked at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad meant the third T20I among the women of the West Indies and the women of South Africa were abandoned without a ball being thrown on Sunday.
South Africa needed to win the game to maintain their hopes of a live serial victory, but a tropical rainstorm earlier in the day ensured there would be no possible game. The result left the West Indies with a 2-0 lead in the five-game series, with only two remaining T20I.
The Antilles had won the first game for 17 races and the second for nine fields. The fourth T20I will take place on October 3. Apart from the first match that took place in Barbados, the other four are in the same place.
