The forbidden Australian hitter, David Warner, was involved in a bizarre incident during a grade match in Sydney on Saturday when he left the field midway through the innings.
Playing for Randwick-Petersham against Western Suburbs, Warner left the field when at 35. The suggestion from the ground was that he had offended himself with a sled, although the nature of the comment was unknown.
The game stopped for a few minutes before Warner resumed his entries.
Warner is currently serving his one-year international and state cricket ban by Cricket Australia in the wake of the Newlands ball handling controversy.
